Greenberg Traurig’s Richard F. Davis to Speak at ARDA

Leadership is an overused word, and is often misused. We like this definition.

Davis is the firm’s Hospitality Group Co-Chair

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 28, 2017

Richard F. Davis, co-chair of the Hospitality Group at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak today at the American Resort Development Association’s (ARDA) Global Timeshare Event taking place at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.

Davis will join a panel to discuss “New Growth Realities” in the timeshare industry focused on various traditional and innovative ways of creating timeshare inventory from other types of projects or forms of real estate. Examples to be discussed include: conversions of hotels, resort and residential condominiums or commercial property, acquisitions of legacy projects, development of reclaimed land, joint ventures with investment funds, and many other opportunities.

ARDA is the Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries (timeshares). ARDA has nearly 750 corporate members ranging from privately held firms to publicly traded corporations with extensive experience in shared ownership interests in leisure real estate. The membership also includes timeshare developers, financial institutions committed to the industry, timeshare management companies, industry vendors, suppliers, and consultants; as well as owners through the ARDA Resort Owners Coalition (ARDA-ROC).

Davis has more than 35 years of experience in the global recreational and resort real estate industry and is co-chair of the firm’s Hospitality Group. He has counseled owners, developers, investors, operators, lenders, and advisors in connection with major global hospitality industry projects.
