The project will result in the creation of a Latvian flag that will cover 12.5 hectares of land with dimensions of 250 by 500 meters. European nation state of Latvia is about to celebrate its 100 years of independence and this flag will be the ideal gift by the people for the Centenary Celebrations of Latvia.
In addition, the event to present this flag is planned for 18 to 21st of August, 2018. And it will be held in Cesis, a small city where original Latvian flag was created. Moreover, the event will be submitted for world record of the world's largest flag and it will inspire patriots for other nations around the world to create their own version of the world's largest flag. The city of Cesis is the third oldest town in Latvia and this flag will play a major role in boosting up the patriotism for the people for their beloved country.
